You're SNOW Sweet

You're SNOW sweet but it's SNOW cold outside...better get Bundled UP!

Today I'm featuring one of the little bunnies in the Bundled Up clear stamp set, I did a post a few days ago using the other bunny in the set if you want to take a peek HERE.

I used the Bundled Up set for all my stamping on this card.  First I stamped the snowflake randomly for the background then added Simply White Nuvo drops to each of their centers.

Then I die cut out a Notched Square and stamped the bunny with Memento black ink and colored him with Copic markers (R83, RV34, C1, C3, W1).

The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Clair Black ink (love this ink for sentiments).

I matted onto a pink card base and popped up the Notched Square with foam tape for added dimension.
Hope you have a great day and are keeping your toesies cozy this winter.

BRRR Get Bundled Up!

Get Bundled Up peeps, the Arctic  blast is on it's way!

To start this card off I used the Stitched Cloud die and cut out 3 clouds from sticky note paper (post-it notes) and placed  them on white card stock. Then I sponged on some blue (faded jeans and tumbled glass) distress ink and splattered on plain water to create the sky. I removed the sticky notes then stamped the trees.

I used a white gel pen and added some "snow" the the branches of the trees.

The snow hill is from the Stitched Border Trio die.

I stamped the little girl and the bunny from the Bundled Up set and colored them with Copic markers then hand cut them out.

I added foam tape to just the upper part of the little girls body and her feet are glued directly the the paper. I did the same with the bunny. Lastly I stamped the sentiment inside the small cloud which looks kind of like a word bubble to me but it wasn't planned that way ;).
STAY WARM!

I have another card to share with your today using the Favorite Flake clear stamp set.

I started my card off with the background and used the Polka Dots stencil and sponged on Silvery Shimmer Delicata ink

Then I stamped the cutie little Favorite Flake bunny with Memento black in and colored him with copic markers.

And heat embossed the sentiment with silver embossing powder.

Then matted the image onto black card stock and popped it up on foam tape for added dimension.

I hope you have a great wintery day!

Unicorn Snowflakes

Who doesn't love catching snowflakes...with their unicorn?!

Today's card is using the Favorite Flake clear stamp set and is an easy one layer card.

I stamped the girl and unicorn with black Archival waterproof ink onto Bristol cold pressed watercolor paper and used regular Distress Inks to watercolor them.

Once the main images were dry I watercolored in a light blue sky and the ground.

then when that was dry I stamped the Favorite Flake sentiments and added some Glamour Dust glitter to look like falling snow.

Catching snowflakes on your tongue is always fun but it's even better when you have your unicorn with you!

Stained Glass Village

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

I know I say it every time that I share a post with one of our Stained Glass rubber stamps but I just love coloring these! They remind me of paint by numbers and they make Copic marker coloring that much easier too!
All you need to do is stamp the image, color it and matte it onto a card base, you don't need embellishments or anything. Today I'm using the Stained Glass Village stamp and you can check out all the entire Stained Glass rubber stamp collection HERE.

Technically Glamour Dust glitter (my fav glitter) would be considered an embellishment but still, these stamps are soooo easy!

And just a reminder that the 50% off retiring sale at Whimsy Stamps ends on 12/31/18...that's 50% off even the sale prices! Don't miss out on some of your favorite products which will be gone for good as of midnight 12/31/18!

Cozy Wonderland

I'm sharing a cozy little card with you today using the NEW Cozy Blanket rubber background and the NEW Dash Away clear set along with a couple of our dies too.

I first stamped the Cozy Blanket with brown ink onto a kraft card stock, then used the second largest Stitched Oval die to cut out the center.

On a light blue card stock I stamped my little houses and trees with the Dash Away set. This set has all kinds of options to build your own little cities, and towns.

I used the Stitched Border trio die to cut the snow hill. The Wonderland word die set (currently on sale) was cut out twice and stacked to give it a little more dimension. These word dies are delicate and can very easily be shaped to curve however you want them to or they can be kept straight as shown in this post HERE.

Are you warm and cozy in a winter wonderland? I'm in SW Florida and right now it's in the 40's which for me is FREEZING...I'm breaking out all the blankets I can find!
STAY COZY :O)
