Got Peepers Halloween

HAPPY HALLOWEEN PEEPS!
It's my favorite day of the year but it always makes me a little sad when posting my final Halloween card of the season.
I hope everyone has a FRIGHTFULLY fun Halloween tonight!

For my spooky little kitty card, I started off by using the Star Galaxy stencil and sponged white ink onto a black matte.

Then I used the circle from the Shaker Maker Combo die as a frame around the main image.

For the main image I stamped the fence and tree branch from the Attempted Murder set and colored them with Copic markers.

For the Got Peepers kitty I stamped him twice, once sitting on the fence, and then again on a scrap piece of card stock. I colored the scrap one with pencils and (yikes!) cut off his head (well, after all this is a Halloween post). I popped that up on foam tape and placed it over the fence stamped image for a little extra dimension.

The pumpkins are from the Build a Pumpkin Patch die set. I just sponged a little ink on the edges and colored the stems with a brown marker and tucked them into the edge.

Once I had the main image completed I stamped the sentiment and matted everything onto a light blue card base.

Addicted to Halloween

For my post today I combined some new, and some older Whimsy products to turn the Addicted to Rubber Stamps t-shirt into a Halloween t-shirt. I'm addicted to both rubber stamps, and Halloween so it was the perfect match up.

I first used the new Wavy Pierced Rectangle die to cut out a piece of kraft color cardstock. Then stamped it with brown ink using one of my favorite go-to stamps the Burlap Background.

I stamped the Addicted to Rubber Stamps t-shirt with black ink on orange cardstock, then colored in the bands with a black marker, and sponged the edges with orange ink.
The perfectly sized kitty cat is from the Goth Girl stamp set, and the bats and sentiment are from the Halloweeners stamp set.

I used the new Happy Halloween word die and cut it out 3 times from black cardstock and stacked up the 3 layers for extra dimension.

The pumpkin is from the Headless Horseman set, colored with pencils and fussy cut out. The leaves are from the Build-a-Pumpkin Patch die set with sponged ink on them.

To complete my card I matted everything onto a black card base.
I hope you all are enjoying the Whimsy Stamps 31 Nights of Halloween festivities, there are still prizes to be had including the $100 grand prize!

Zombie Love Forever

and EVER and EVER and EVER...

How about another Zombie Licious card today...one can never have too many zombies can they?

My first step was to die cut the Wonky Window 2 twice, once from blue card stock and once from grey card stock. I didn't use the frame piece and I just rearranged the wonky pieces into a different layout...cool huh?!

I stamped the Zombie Licious hands onto Canson cold pressed watercolor paper and
used Distress inks to water color them.

Faded Jeans

Wilted Violet

Firebrick

Antique Linen

Hickory Smoke

Once it was dry I added a couple of highlights with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out.

I stamped the ZOMBIE word with Memento black ink and colored it with
Copic markers (BV13, BV34, B34, R83, and R85)
then I used the same Wonky Window 2 die and cut the word out with just the long strip portion. You can of course also do this step in reverse by cutting the die strip out first then stamping the word, and then coloring it.

To complete my card I stamped the sentiments onto the small wonky pieces and adhered all the pieces to a black card base. And popped the hands up with foam tape.

UPDATED 10/13/19 winners announced HERE

Here's my Zombie Frame meets Zombie Licious card to share with you for this special occasion...

I started out with a piece of Canson cold pressed watercolor paper and brushed on some worn lipstick and mowed lawn distress inks the dried it with a heat gun.

Once dry I stamped it with the NEW Zombie Frame background then cut it out along its border. These zombies crack me up, especially the business suit one...all in a days work - ha!

I stamped the ZOMBIE word from the new Zombie Licious clear stamp set, colored it with Copic markers and hand cut out each letter popping them up with foam tape.

For the other part of the sentiment (also from Zombie Licious) I just used a scrap piece of my watercoloring paper and stamped the sentiment onto that and cut it into a skinny rectangle.

I die cut the largest shaped Wavy Pierced Frames (one of my new favs) from pink cardstock and matted that onto a black card base. I think it looks like guts oozing out the sides - lol

And for a final touch I used a white colored pencil and colored in the empty zombie eyes.
Here are all the NEW zombie licious Whimsy Stamps products that I used on this card...

Got Peepers Halloween Kitty

Well hello there PEEPS!

For my Got Peepers card I started out by stamping the Checkerboard Doodles background and cut it out with the Rectangle Shaker Maker die

The grass was die cut using the Grass and Cloud Edger die set and the "moon" is from the

I stamped the Got Peepers kitties, colored their eyes, ears and noses with colored pencils, and then fussy cut them out.

I used the new Bats and Bubbles die set for the bats on the tombstone and sky. And the tombstone is from the Dracula's Coffin die set (a must have for any Halloween card maker).

I sponged ink on the edges of most of the pieces before adhering them to the spooky little scene ;).

How spooky cute is that little kitty peeking out of the grass?!

The sentiment was stamped in the bottom corner and the final touch was using a white gel pen to add a few stars in the night sky.
