Bundle of Joy Jungle Babies

Elephants are one of my favorite animals, and this cute little girl is from a stamp set called Jungle Babies. The Jungle Babies stamp set is one of several products being featured for this weeks Whimsy Stamps Fresh Friday's posts.

For the background I used the Messy Mesh rubber stamp and heat embossed it with white embossing powder on pink card stock. The Messy Mesh background is so forgiving, I dare ya to tell me where the mistake is - LOL!

I stamped the Jungle Babies  flower, and elephant (all the animals in this set can be made either boy or girl), then colored both of them with Copic markers and fussy cut them out.

Then I die cut two Pierced and Stitched Circles and stacked them using foam under the top one.

The Jungle Babies sentiment was stamped and then die cut with one of the Quick Strips, which is one of my most used die sets, if ya haven't noticed ;).

For the grey card base I used the hearts from the Straight Edgers die to add just the right amount of "love" to this baby congrats card.

Pink, grey, and white is one of my most favoritestes (my made up word) color combos ever. What's your favorite color combo?

Fabulous Florals Papers

The gorgeous Fabulous Florals 6x6 paper pack is one of my favorite Whimsy Stamps paper pack ever and it's back in stock now after selling out in just a couple of days. But I wouldn't wait, this re-stock is flying out the door too! These papers are so pretty they can almost make a card all by themselves.

I started out with one of my favorite pieces of the Fabulous Florals papers and cut it out with one of the Envelope Edgers dies, which gave it that pretty scalloped edge.

While I was at it I also cut out a white edge too so I could matte it underneath the floral paper.

On a black card base I used the new Life Goes On clear stamp set and heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder.

I added a checkered ribbon bow (from my stash) to the top of the patterned paper before it was adhered to the front of the black card base.

If you are looking for sympathy sentiment stamp sets that have touching and uncommon sentiments be sure to check out my Whimsy Stamps sympathy collection. Each one of these sentiments has meaning to me personally and I hope you find them heartfelt too.

So Deeply Sorry

It's such a terrible time for the whole world right now, so many people are dying from this awful virus. April 2, 2020 had the largest death toll in the USA since the outbreak. This card is for all of those who have endured the loss of a loved one through this awful time in our history. And also for those who have had loss from other things during this time too. I'm so deeply sorry.

For the background, I cut out the pretty, new Lattice A2 die from white card stock and glued it to a black matte, then onto a white card base.

I stamped the magnolia from the new So Deeply Sorry stamp set then colored it with Copic markers.

The ovals are from the Spring Ovals die set, it's such a pretty die set with different oval designs that you can mix and match. So for this card I used the large plain scalloped oval, and also cut out the flowered oval but I only used the flowered ovals negative space as a "stencil" to sponge on the blue ink. It's hard to see in the pic but it made a delicate tiny scalloped edge.

The sentiments are also from the new So Deeply Sorry clear stamp set, I just stamped both of them with black ink.

and lastly I used the Build a Pond die set for the dragonfly. I die cut it from white card stock, colored it with Copic markers and added some glamour dust to its wings.

Oh and I also added a little bit of glamour dust to the center of the magnolia to complete my card.
Please stay home, stay safe, and stay well.
