Soul Mutt Free Kisses

Yep, they have to be free because you can't put a price on those priceless kisses!

I used navy blue ink to stamp the Burlap background onto a navy blue cardstock.  The Burlap BG is one of my favorite backgrounds because it gives just the right amount of texture without being over powering.  Plus it gives kind of a denim look especially with this blue on blue combo.

I cut out a stitched circle from cold pressed Bristol watercolor paper and stamped my the Soul Mutts image with Archival black ink (it's waterproof).  Then I used distress inks to watercolor the image.

I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder on a scrap of black card stock and trimmed it at an angle.  I added a yellow Whimsy Enamel Dot which was just the right touch to bring the yellow in the girls dress together. 

For the final touch I added some spots to the dog with the spotted stamps that are part of the Soul Mutts stamp set and I added a couple others with a black marker.

Then matted onto a vanilla card base to complete my card.  I hope you get lots of free kisses from your soul mutt everyday...they are the bestest!
