Howling Night

EEEEeeeeee!!  I'm SO excited for the Whimsy Stamps Halloween release, it's my favorite release of the entire year!  And for my first post I'm sharing a spooky werewolf card with you today using the new Howling Night clear stamp set.

For the blood moon I cut a circle from a post-it note and secured it to a white piece of card stock.  Then I heavily sponged on some red, purple, green and black inks keeping the red just around the moon post-it mask.  I removed the post-it and lightly added a little red directly on the moon.

I used my Misti to stamp the werewolf and thicket arch multiple times so I could get a good saturation of black on those images.  I stamped the bats afterwards so I could get the best placement of those.

For the road sign I used the Sleepy Hallow set and colored it with copic markers and hand cut it out.  

I stamped the sentiment last, using Versafine black ink for a nice crisp inking.

and matted the completed Howling Night scene onto a black card base.
