Penguin Ray - Cancer SUCKS!

This Penguin Ray digital stamp was designed by our lovely Crissy Armstrong, for her brother Ray who is currently battling cancer. Crissy and Whimsy Stamps are donating ALL proceeds for the purchase of this digi stamp to the Canadian Make-a-Wish Foundation. To purchase this digi and/or for more information click HERE.

I printed out the Penguin Ray digi stamp onto white card stock and colored him with Copic markers.
I kept his colors kind of muted because he's feeling sick from all the chemo he's dealing with :(.

I had printed out a couple of the images so I decided to color a second chemo IV bag and popped that up on foam tape for a little dimension.

I typed out the sentiment (my sentiment exactly!) and printed it at the same time I printed the digi.
Then I used one of the Quick Strip dies to cut it out. This is one of my all-time favorite die sets and I use it for almost every card I make.

The green striped paper is from the new Pretty Pastels 6x6 paper pack
And as a finishing touch I added 3 Christmas Cheer Enamel Dots at the bottom.

I lost my beloved mother to bone cancer when she was only 59, and I've lost 5 aunts and 2 uncles to cancer as well. My father is one year clear of bladder cancer, my brother-in-law is 2 years clear of lung cancer. I have an aunt currently battling breast cancer and my beautiful sister is currently starting another battle with lung cancer for a second time in 8 years. Cancer SUCKS and I know there probably isn't one of us who hasn't been personally affected one way or another by this horrible disease. I continually pray for a cure.

  1. Wow, that’s a lot of cancer in one family Debbie. Ok, couldn’t wait to read your post, just on my coffee break. Cancer does suck! Stay healthy my friend! I’d gladly give up my job for a cure. Wishing you all good health ♥️
