Helping Hands Hold My Heart

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a card made using the Helping Hands stamp set.  When you purchase this stamp set from Whimsy Stamps you are not only getting a quality and versatile stamp set but you are giving ALL the proceeds of the $14.00 cost directly to hurricane Irma relief.  I hope you will also pass the word along on social media to help this worthy cause.  And now for today's project...

For the background I used SU! re-inker Calypso Coral and Tim Holtz Distress Inks, weathered wood and salty ocean, to watercolor it.  Then dried it with my heat tool and cut it down in size so there weren't any white edges.  Then I glued it onto a SU! calypso coral mat then onto a white card base.

I stamped the Helping Hands and part of the sentiment on the banner with SU! Marina Mist.  I used Calypso Coral to stamp the second part of the sentiment and also to sponge on a little ink around the card builder Hearts of Love heart.  The banner is from Spellbinders and both it and the heart are popped up on foam tape.

Come back tomorrow for clean and simple card using this stamp set.
