Helping Hands Thank You

As promised here is a clean and simple thank you card using the Helping Hands stamp set from Whimsy stamps.  All proceeds from this set go to hurricane Irma relief.  And this card is a thank you to all of you who have already purchased this set and who have helped in so many other ways.  It's all our helping hands together that can make a big difference.
THANK YOU!

To start off with I cut a stitched rectangle from white card stock and glued it onto a real red mat.

I stamped the heart first with SU! real red ink then stamped the thank and the you with versafine black ink, then stamped the "for lending a helping hand" sentiment in real red.

I stamped the hand print last with versafine black.  Then I used foam tape to pop up the panel on a black card base.  I love how this set has a paintbrush feel to it, I hope you've enjoyed today's post and thank you again for YOUR helping hands! XO

and as a special thank you, be sure to come back on Thursday night 10/19 at 6pm for a chance at winning one of my stamp sets.  I'm hosting a giveaway for the 31 Nights of Halloween on the Whimsy Stamps blog!

Helping Hands Hold My Heart

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a card made using the Helping Hands stamp set.  When you purchase this stamp set from Whimsy Stamps you are not only getting a quality and versatile stamp set but you are giving ALL the proceeds of the $14.00 cost directly to hurricane Irma relief.  I hope you will also pass the word along on social media to help this worthy cause.  And now for today's project...

For the background I used SU! re-inker Calypso Coral and Tim Holtz Distress Inks, weathered wood and salty ocean, to watercolor it.  Then dried it with my heat tool and cut it down in size so there weren't any white edges.  Then I glued it onto a SU! calypso coral mat then onto a white card base.

I stamped the Helping Hands and part of the sentiment on the banner with SU! Marina Mist.  I used Calypso Coral to stamp the second part of the sentiment and also to sponge on a little ink around the card builder Hearts of Love heart.  The banner is from Spellbinders and both it and the heart are popped up on foam tape.

Come back tomorrow for clean and simple card using this stamp set.
