Zombie Breath Slimline Card

Hey peeps long time no post huh?! Sorry about that, I'm still working but I'm dealing with some health issues so blogging and other social media have been forced to take a back seat. But I couldn't not come out of my crypt and share a few posts with my fellow Halloweeners during our favorite card-making season!

And with our Whimsy Stamps annual 31 Nights of Halloween festivities beginning on 9/30 I thought it was a good time to unleash some zombies on you any way!

To make the bad breath waves I used one of the killer cool new Revealers 2 dies and cut it out twice, once with an olive green card stock and another out of black card stock, then sponged on some olive green ink around the edges.

I stamped the Zombie Party dude on the corner of the olive green cardstock and used some colored pencils to fill in his teeth and some of his rotting parts. Then I adhered on top of the black cardstock off-setting it just a bit to create the shadow border.

I used the new slimline Bats Galore embossing folder (love), and ran that through my Big Shot with purple cardstock. Then sponged on some Encore silver ink randomly all around, I love how it really highlights the texture and pattern.

I stamped the big "Zombie" sentiment on the same olive green cardstock with black ink, and used the Zombie Party die set to cut it out. I die cut the breath cloud from grey cardstock using the Comic Burst die, then stamped the sentiment, sponged on some black ink around the edges and tucked it under the Zombie word (which is popped up on foam tape).

The finishing touch was adding some stinky fish skeletons, which I die cut from olive cardstock using the cute Fish and Mice borders dies set. And there ya have it a stinky ZOMBIE BREATH slimline card - bleeech! lol
Hope you're having fun with all the cool Halloween stuffs we've been releasing at Whimsy Stamps
