you look smashing dahling

Well, here it is, the big debut of my new Amped2Stamp blog and with it some super exciting news, I have been blessed to have found my DREAM JOB.  My new position is Creative Director for Whimsy Stamps, a family owned, worldwide art stamp company who recently moved their headquarters from New Hampshire to Florida. And that's not all, I even have my own line of stamps & dies debuting too!

I'm SO excited I can hardly stand it!  Not only do I get to work for thee nicest stamp company owner in the entire world, Denise Lynn, but I also get to create stamp sets & dies to share with my fellow stampers.

I hope you find my designs to be fresh and unique and rest assured that my crazy sense of humor will often shine through.  My sets are a great value too because they are versatile and the majority of them can be used for numerous occasions.  Many are also sets within a series and are combinable with one another.

I'll have new releases coming out mid-monthly so be sure to subscribe to my blog for the latest updates.  Then head over to our Whimsy Stamps Store to check out ALL the awesome artists and quality stamping products we offer. We also just launched our new CASs (customer appreciation stamp set) program last week and have a Pinterest Extravaganza next week so be sure to get in on all the rewards waiting for you!

And now without further ado here is my first post on my new Amped2Stamp blog with one of the first stamp sets I designed Franken Schmutz☺.

HAPPY STAMPING!!

This is a quick and easy card, I used Distress inks to watercolor the background and when it was dry I just flicked water on it until I got the effect I wanted.

I used a water brush and SU! ink (rich razzleberry) to paint Frank's face and body and used the Franken Schmutz matching die set to cut him out.  The black sentiment was stamped with Versafine ink (my favorite ink for sentiments) and the white sentiment was heat embossed on black cardstock.

I added a couple of iridescent sequins for a "glamours" (glamorous Frankenstein?! lol), touch and whalah, doesn't he look just sMASHing Dahlings?

Would you like to make your own version of this project?  You can SHOP NOW or click on the product images below for details about these and other stamps, dies and more available at the Whimsy Stamps store.  And be sure to take advantage of  this month's EXCLUSIVE 4x6 CAS (Customer Appreciation Stamp set) that you can get for FREE when you place an order of $75 or more!

Thanks for stopping by...see you again soon,
